A kitchen or bath that doesn't work usually didn't work on paper first. So we start there: your kitchen or bathroom, drawn and then priced by the same team that will do the remodeling.
Santiago Azuaje spent years as a project manager at another construction company before he opened Quick Remodels in 2011, and he has more than 22 years in the construction business. We're a family-owned, MHIC-licensed design-build contractor in Bethesda, Maryland. The team that draws your kitchen or bathroom is the same team that handles the remodeling. We draw every kitchen and bath plan, custom pieces included, around the framing, the plumbing and your budget from the start. Quality craftsmanship can't rescue a bad plan. We answer for both.
The other way is to hire a kitchen designer in Bethesda, then shop the drawings around to remodeling contractors. It works. It also leaves you holding renovation plans nobody has priced yet. With us, the plans are priced by the team that builds them, on a single fixed-price contract, and the first step is a free consultation. We handle kitchen design and remodeling in Bethesda, MD, and bathrooms too, for homeowners here and in Chevy Chase, Potomac, Rockville, the rest of Montgomery County, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
Custom kitchen design starts with who cooks in the kitchen and where the groceries land. Then the layout has to survive everyone else cutting through on the way to the back door. We settle all of that on the kitchen drawings, before any remodeling starts.
A bathroom is small and wet, and every mistake ends up behind tile. So we plan a bath renovation in more detail per square foot than any other room in the house.
Our process has five steps. The first costs nothing. Most of the real decisions happen in steps two and three, which is where you want them: on paper, where a change costs an eraser instead of a wall.
Modern or traditional, a small bath renovation goes through the same steps as a full kitchen remodeling project.
These kitchen displays are in Bethesda, Maryland, on Old Georgetown Road. A dark green kitchen island looks different at full size than it does on a screen, and the quality of a finish is easier to judge up close. Better to find that out before you sign than halfway through a kitchen remodeling project.
Bethesda Cabinets sells every cabinet line we use for kitchen remodeling, from Vita and Fabuwood up to fully custom cabinetry. It's the authorized Shiloh and Eclipse dealer in Montgomery County, Maryland, at the same 7801 Old Georgetown Rd address. Santiago started both companies.
If you want to compare door styles first, tour the Bethesda Cabinets showroom. The line you pick goes onto our drawings and into our remodeling contract, and our team installs it.

No. Quick Remodels is a design-build remodeling firm: we plan your kitchen or bath and build it under a single fixed-price contract, so whoever prices the drawings also has to stand behind them.
Yes, whether we meet at your home or ours.
The planning process moves as fast as your decisions do. The renovation itself is the part we can put numbers on: kitchen remodeling takes 1 to 7 weeks on site, depending on the tier, and we can finish a small kitchen in about two. Bathroom remodeling takes 2 to 6 weeks on site.
Same steps, different worries. A bathroom remodeling project goes through the same consultation, drawings and in-person selections as a kitchen, but more of the planning goes into what you won't see later, like the waterproofing behind the tile and where the plumbing valve goes.
Through Bethesda Cabinets, our sister company at the same address and the authorized Shiloh and Eclipse dealer in Montgomery County. You choose the line and finish, it goes onto our drawings, and we install it during the kitchen renovation. Cabinets carry a 2 to 10 year warranty, plus our 1-year labor warranty.
At 7801 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814, with public parking next to the building. It's open Monday to Friday 10 to 5 and Saturday 10 to 2, and closed on Sunday. Hours can change at short notice, so call 301-347-6222 before you come.
Most of the kitchens we take on in Bethesda are a Renovation, at $35,000 to $45,000. A Refresh, a kitchen redesign that keeps the layout, runs $25,000 to $35,000. For a high-end or luxury kitchen, the top tier is a structural Transformation with custom cabinetry: $55,000 to $120,000 and up. Bathroom remodeling starts at about $4,000 for a powder room and reaches $45,000 for a large remodel that changes the layout. Each tier is quoted as one fixed price, and you can finance the project through a third-party partner. Our kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling pages break down each tier.
Step three of the process happens here: choosing the finishes for a kitchen remodeling project or a bath renovation.
