QuickRemodels has been quietly building kitchens, baths, additions, and finished basements across the DC metro since 2011. Same name. Same showroom. Same team that signed your neighbor's contract.
QuickRemodels was founded in 2011 by Santiago Azuaje, who has spent more than 22 years in the construction business — including years as a project manager at another construction company before deciding to open his own. He kept seeing the same thing: homeowners signing contracts that promised one thing and delivered another. Surprise costs. Missed deadlines. Workmanship that failed within a year. Contractors who went silent the moment the deposit cleared.
So when he started his own company, the operating model was inverted: put everything in writing. Fixed-price contracts. A written workmanship warranty. Twenty-four-hour response time, in writing. Weekly written progress reports during construction.
Fifteen years later, that's still the whole company. The team has grown to thirty-plus. We added a Bethesda showroom in 2017 and an in-house stone fabrication shop (Quick Countertops) in 2019. But the four written guarantees in your contract today are the same four Santiago committed to on the first job in 2011.
We remain family-owned. We remain MHIC licensed. We've never had a BBB complaint go unresolved. And we still pull every permit ourselves.
That's the whole story.
Stated out loud so we can be held to them.
If we can't put it in the contract, we don't say it in the sales pitch. Every guarantee on our marketing pages is a contractual term, not a slogan.
You shouldn't have to chase ten subs and ten invoices. One fixed-price contract. One named project manager. One phone number for every question.
We don't publish addresses, exteriors, or full client names. The trust you give us extends to how we share our work publicly.
Fixed price means fixed price. If we under-quoted or overlooked something at scoping, the financial risk is ours, not yours. That's the deal — and it's how we stay honest.
QuickRemodels is led by the person who started it. The name on your contract is the one on your job site.
Started QuickRemodels in 2011. Still on every project consultation. Bethesda-based, with more than 22 years in the construction business — including years as a project manager before founding the company.
